Cricket Australia has canceled its tour of South Africa due to the threat of Corona virus. New Zealand benefitted the most from this tour. The New Zealand team reached the final despite finishing second in the points table of the World Test Championship. The final match of the World Test Championship will be played at the Lord’s ground from 22 February. The teams that finished first and second in the points table will go into the final against each other.

In the two-match series of the World Test Championship, 60 points are scored on a win, 30 on a tie, 20 on a draw. In a three-match series, one wins at 40, 20 for a tie and 13 for a draw. In a four-match Test series, a win scores 30 points, 15 points on a tie and 10 points on a draw. Similarly, in a series of 5 matches, one gets 24 points on a win, 12 points on a tie and 8 on a draw. No points are earned on defeat.

What can be the result of India vs England Test series?

The Indian team has played a total of 60 Test matches against England at home since 1933, in which India has won 19 matches and lost 13 matches, while 28 matches have been drawn. In the last home Test series of 2016-17, India won 4–0, while a match was drawn. So this time India also has a full chance of winning.
